About the Company

3-J COMMUNICATION DESIGN & SERVICES, INC., is a small private owned technical communication network solution consultant service company specializing in two types of services – Outside Plant (OSP) Design Services, the engineering design of telecommunication underground infrastructure systems (manholes & conduit), cable lines, utility pole lines, and project management; and Information Technology Services, specializing and providing the support of desktop and laptop PC computer configuration and connectivity.

3-J was founded in July, 2006 and is owned by Velma Johnson, CEO, a retired AT&T/Southwestern Bell Telephone (SBC) employee with 30 years of experience in the telecommunication industry and over 25 years in outside plant engineering design, construction and services; and Joseph Johnson, CFO, a 30 year veteran of Xerox Corp., a certified Microsoft Professional and System Engineer (MCSE), and with over 25 years in Information Technology (IT) specializing in network computer support & configuration on desktop and laptop PC computers.

3-J is based in Arlington, TX and operates as a general or subcontractor. We service within the Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX metropolitan area; however, we are open and flexible to work with clients on opportunities outside of our current base location.

3-J is a turn-key operation offering. Our business practice is to provide superior technical services and customer support to consumers and companies (small, medium, & large) in all industries.  We are teamed with some of the highest experienced and highest quality producing contractors, subcontractors, and business client to meet the total network design and solution for our clients.

At 3-J, we can provide our clients a total single point of contact for there communications requirements and solutions from project management consulting to engineering design to network solutions.
